Pathological condition- Give me your views/diagnoses

Just to show that we are veterinary people, I post these pixs of an adult Barbados Black Belly Sheep that suffered from the Malaysian No.1 complaint ( FOUND DEAD):

Note the nature and amount of fluid in the thoracic cavity, and the parietal surface of the lungs

Exposing the cardia and the mediastinum ( how I love the word.."blur" in my student days)You may email/post your comments to our blog.
DR TW

HELLO, ANYBODY OUT THERE?

Dear SVA members,
Hello? Apa Khabar? Ni hao pu hao?.....
Are anyone out there reading, planning to post, yawning at or just plain ignorant of how to do their part to ventilate their views on our blog?
So far, only our VP Dr Adrian and Past P Dr Sia and my humble self have placed something on the blogsite....shades of lingering disease lah...memang gonna waste and keel over like that one...
ANW, just a reminder to all that I would like to have some articles for the next issue of the newsletter...remember that lil part of out lofty ambitions to keep all vets connected?
You all may be aware that the LIVESTOCK ASIA is on at KLCC from 27.10.09-29.10.09.
One of the main organisers is AMB Exhibitions, owned by Ex DG, ex UPM Prof and Environmentalist Dr Ahmad Mustapha Babjee..he of the silvery mane and iconic presence who strongly promoted a separate department for the Vet Division, DOA, Sarawak.
Anyway, just to add a lil promo to say that the UPM Class of 1979 is planning a reunion...maybe in Kuantan, or the mamak stall at Serdang Baru roadside if not evicted yet....
Most of the 50s something are either in the DVS, KL ( E.g Dr ICE..) or UPM ( Prof Aini, Prof Rehana) or down under..I mean in Australia ( Dr Cheong) or NZ( Dr TKM...MIA?), with a sprinkling in between like Dr HK, Dr Koh, and me.
If you all do not post anything, I am thinking of scaring everyone with the pixs of how Dr HK, the Profs and Dr N Cheng look like in the days of no internet, botox, and multilevel marketing..
Take care, all and have a safe and pleasant weekend.

Selamat Raya Aidilfitri...!

To all our Muslim friends, colleagues and groupies ( if any, lah!)..SELAMAT HARI RAYA!
I always savour the saliva-inducing food like beef rendang and chicken kurma that Dr Omar and family put out during Raya. Although I have to give it a miss this year, I made up by making a bee line for the Ramadan spread in KL,and boy! Those of you who follow the foodies's columns in the weekend STAR know what I mean. You cannot have too much of a good thing : ))
Back to the more mundane. Time is whipping by so fast that our bodies are starting to feel a disconnect, and before too long, we will be wondering whether to attend the AGM or not.
Unlike the hot agenda in both MIC andMCA of late where everyone was/is pushing their resolutions and candidates, the SVA has stayed mute.We really have to take stock of ourselves and ask what STIMULUS jabs to give the SVA if we do not want to end up like the Dodo.
Which brings me to my own agenda:
I am calling for articles for the next issue of the SVA newsletter. The dateline is a comfortable 30 days away,folks...say 24th October,2009. After that issue, I propose that we reorganise ourselves IT-wise and replace the newsletter by postings on the SVA blogsite; or do what the FEER just did.. fold up without a whimper.
Our wise and ever so encouraging VP Dr Adrian has advised me to sabar and put out another issue instead of comitting hara kiri without the bells and whistles.
Anyway, over to you ahli-ahli SVA.
