Hello, and Goodbyes...

The new 2010-2011Committee has been elected...new and younger blood are slowly but surely coursing through the veins of the SVA, hopefully to give new life to a weary and patient heart : ) .
Three Presidents have had the final salute...Dr Hsiung, Dr Sia,  and now Dr Chin giving their farewell speeches and jokes. All had a wonderful dinner at the Banquet. Kudos to the organising committee for the smooth running of the function ( it was almost "gala" like and very grand...) and the delicious menu on which much thoughts have obviously been spent. There wasa good blend of those in DOA, private sector and the industry, and we hope that this will be a springboard to greater things. Maybe also time to say goodbye to the SVA Newsletter?...as it is quite difficult to coax enough enthusaism from most members to pen an article or some news-bits for the newsletter... = (
Maybe members can send in their comments/feedback on whether in these days of Twitter/SMS and surat layang, our newsletter has outlived its usefulness?
